Looking For A Club?
We are a friendly club catering for players of all levels and nationalities. We
enjoy playing indoors, outdoors, and at any time and anywhere.
BVC is the only club in Bristol to have achieved a healthy balance between good-standard, competitive volleyball and sociability: the proof that these two can work perfectly well together.
Whether you’re a complete beginner, or an experienced player, BVC caters for a wide range of levels, and therefore we are confident that you will find the appropriate training session and/or team. We have six teams that compete in various leagues. We are looking for new
recruits for all of them. Anyone interested in playing for a team should come
along on a Tuesday evening or contact one of the team representatives.
In addition we’re a very sociable bunch, so BVC is also the perfect opportunity to meet new people, and make new friends. After training sessions and matches, we regularly enjoy a well-earned pint or soft drink at the Alma Tavern on Alma Vale Road. And we also organise regular club social events, a Christmas meal, and several volleyball tournaments (both indoors and outdoors) throughout the year.
2008/09 Season
Club Development/Mixed Training: Tues 8:00pm-10pm, Clifton College
This session is open to all club members. The main focus will be on developing everyone's basic skills to enable more people to play for a team if they wish, and to improve the overall standard of volleyball in the club. We welcome new members of any
ability, so if you are a beginner wanting to take up Volleyball for the first time, or a seasoned veteran looking for a new team, just come
along or contact Chris Beer.
Men 1 & 2 Training: Thurs 7:30pm-9:30pm (until Nov) then 8:30pm-10:30pm, The City Academy
This session is invitation only, so if you are interested in playing for one of our mens teams, please come along and meet us on a Tuesday night

Ladies 1 Training: Wed 7:00pm-8:30pm, Clifton College
Ladies 2 Training: Wed 8:30pm-10:00pm, Clifton College
